About Ska for Christ

Meet the Staff...

Kathy - Marketing/Technical Director, Ska for Christ

Kathy is Todd's sister, and as such, Todd eventually persuaded her to join his team. She has a degree in Computer Science, and should be able to do some nifty things with a computer. The two often compete over who exactly is the computer genius of the family. She also has a keen sense of style, and all around-coolness, so Todd thought she might have some good ideas on how exactly to market this whole concept. A dynamic duo unlike any other was formed.

Todd - Executive Director, Ska for Christ

For years, Todd had scoured the net for information on bands that might fit his unique taste in music, but much to his dismay, most sites that fit the bill had died out in the late 90's.

After the 2004 Impact Conference, Todd was inspired. While contemplating the Cross Movement performance, he reminisced over the days when he had seen thousands of people jump to a different beat, an upbeat. If anybody was going to maintain a place for Christian Rudies, who better than himself? So, in February of 2005, ChristianSka.org was born. Add a couple years, some growth, a name change, some fresh design, and you have what you see before you, Ska for Christ!

Mike - Senior West Coast Correspondent, Ska for Christ

Todd and Mike met through the wonderful phenomenon known as Myspace, with a mutual love of Ska and Christ. They talked and over time a friendship was formed that still lasts even today. Distance may be great, but they are as close as your fingers on your hand....... if that makes any sense.

Mike read an interview that Todd did with an Inzyder (Joe Yerke), and thus inspired, Mike did an interview with Leanor from Five Iron Frenzy, and ever since that day Mike has become the Senior West Coast Correspondent.
